  • Description: A written or verbal request by an MRP controller to a vendor for changes to purchase orders or stock transport orders. Change requests are created when using the apps for managing material shortages or uncovered requirements. The MRP controller can request that the vendor change the quantity and/or delivery date in a purchase order or stock transport order so that material availability can be ensured and customer requirements can be fulfilled. In the "Manage Change Requests" app, the MRP controller can monitor and manage all their change requests, whether they are new and waiting to be sent or have already been placed. At the end of the process, the MRP controller either applies the changes, which automatically updates the order, or discards the request.
