  • Key Concepts: Work in Execution (WIE) is a term used in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) to refer to any work order that is currently being processed. This includes any work order that has been created, released, and is currently being worked on. It also includes any work order that has been partially completed and is waiting for further processing.
How to use it: In SAP PM, the Work in Execution view allows users to view all work orders that are currently being processed. This view can be accessed by navigating to the “Work in Execution” tab in the Plant Maintenance module. From this view, users can view the status of each work order, as well as any additional information related to the work order such as materials used, labor costs, and completion dates.
Tips & Tricks: When viewing the Work in Execution view, it is important to note that only work orders that have been released will be visible. Any work orders that have not yet been released will not be visible in this view.
