What is status in SAP PA - Personnel Management?

  • Description: The statuses identify the current standing of an object or infotype record in the following HR components: Personnel Development -PD Organizational Management -OS Compensation Management -CM Training and Event Management PE Status can be: Active Planned Submitted Approved Rejected All objects and infotype records receive a status when they are created. Status affects the type of activities, such as creating, changing, or deleting that you can perform. For example, you cannot change an infotype record that has the status "submitted". This status is different to employee status in Personnel Administration - Actions infotype.
