• Description: Parameter for the detailed prioritization of material requirements. The requirement urgency is assigned in purchasing documents and reservations at item level. One or more requirement urgencies are assigned to just one requirement urgency group, from which the system determines the relevant requirement priority overall priority of a material requirement in combination with the organizational priority.

  Requirement urgency is a feature in SAP Materials Management (MM) that allows users to prioritize their material requirements. It is used to indicate the importance of a particular requirement and helps the system determine which requirements should be fulfilled first. The urgency of a requirement can be set to either “high” or “low”. 
  
  How to use it: 
  In order to set the urgency of a requirement, users must first create a material requirement in the system. Once the requirement has been created, users can select the “urgency” field and set it to either “high” or “low”. This will indicate the importance of the requirement and help the system prioritize it accordingly. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  It is important to note that setting the urgency of a requirement does not guarantee that it will be fulfilled first. The system will still take into account other factors such as availability of materials and delivery times when determining which requirements should be fulfilled first.
