• Description: A unit of measure that does not have a fixed factor in all logistical processes, but instead only has a planned conversion factor in relation to the base unit of measure. The quantity for the parallel unit of measure is known as the parallel quantity and must always be entered in parallel with the base quantity or an alternative quantity to the base quantity. It is independent of the base quantity. The parallel unit of measure can only be used with a catch weight material.
