What is data retention level in SAP MM - Materials Management?

  • Description: An organizational area to which the stored data applies. Different data can be stored in the vendor master record for each purchasing organization in a firm. In addition to the data applicable to a purchasing organization, you can update data for a plant or vendor sub-range for example, payment terms or Incoterms that differ from those of the purchasing organization.
