    Area of validity is a feature in SAP Materials Management (MM) that allows users to define the scope of a material master record. It is used to determine which plants and storage locations can access the material master record. The area of validity can be set up for each plant and storage location, allowing users to control which plants and storage locations can access the material master record. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To set up an area of validity for a material master record, users must first create a material master record in SAP MM. Once the material master record is created, users can then define the area of validity for the material master record. This can be done by selecting the “Area of Validity” tab in the material master record and then selecting the plants and storage locations that should have access to the material master record. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When setting up an area of validity for a material master record, it is important to ensure that only those plants and storage locations that need access to the material master record are selected. This will help ensure that only authorized personnel have access to the material master record.
