The surfacing work is divided into "asphalting" and "paving." Below these outline levels are the individual service items defining the specific services.

It enables users to group services into categories and subcategories, making it easier to find and manage them. Outline levels can be used to organize services by type, supplier, or any other criteria. 
  
  How to use it: 
  To use outline level, users must first create a service master record in the SAP system. This record contains information about the service, such as its description, price, and supplier. Once the master record is created, users can assign it an outline level. This can be done by selecting the “Outline Level” field in the master record and entering a number from 1 to 9. The higher the number, the higher the outline level of the service. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  When assigning outline levels to services, it is important to consider how they will be used. For example, if services are grouped by supplier, then it may be helpful to assign a higher outline level to services from more important suppliers. This will make it easier to find and manage those services.
