  • Key Concepts:
Reserved stock is a type of inventory in SAP that is set aside for a specific purpose. It is not available for general use and cannot be used to fulfill customer orders. Reserved stock can be used for internal purposes such as production orders, or for external purposes such as customer orders.

    How to use it:
In SAP, reserved stock is created when a customer order is placed. The system will automatically reserve the necessary quantity of stock for the order. The reserved stock will then be used to fulfill the order when it is ready to ship. The reserved stock can also be used to fulfill internal production orders.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to keep track of your reserved stock in SAP, as it can easily become over-reserved if not managed properly. To avoid this, make sure to regularly check the status of your reserved stock and adjust it accordingly.
