What is Data Source Name in SAP MFG-PCO - Plant Connectivity?

  • Description: Data structure that describes for ODBC the access data that is needed to be able to create a connection to a specific database. You define the name of the data source and the configuration in the ODBC Data Source Administrator. This database can then be used by PCo as a data source.

    In order to use a DSN, you must first create it in SAP MFG-PCO Plant Connectivity. This can be done by selecting the “Create Data Source Name” option from the menu. Once created, you can then use the DSN to access data from the plant.
