  • Key Concepts:
The Maximum Nonconformance Limit (MNL) is a feature of the SAP Manufacturing Execution (MFG-ME) component that allows users to set a limit on the number of nonconformances that can be reported in a given period of time. This limit helps to ensure that the quality of products produced is maintained and that any nonconformances are addressed quickly and efficiently.

    How to use it:
The MNL can be set by the user in the MFG-ME component. The user can specify the maximum number of nonconformances that can be reported in a given period of time, such as a day, week, or month. Once this limit is reached, any additional nonconformances will not be accepted until the limit is reset.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to set the MNL at an appropriate level for your organization. If the limit is set too low, it may lead to an excessive number of nonconformances being reported and addressed. On the other hand, if the limit is set too high, it may lead to nonconformances not being addressed in a timely manner.

    Related Information:
The MNL feature is part of the Quality Management module in MFG-ME. This module also includes features such as Quality Notifications, Quality Certificates, and Quality Reports. These features can be used to monitor and manage quality issues in production processes.
