  • Key Concepts:
Coupled attributes are a type of attribute in SAP NetWeaver Master Data Management (MDM) that are linked to other attributes in the same table. This allows for the data to be more easily managed and updated, as changes to one attribute will automatically be reflected in the other.

    How to use it:
Coupled attributes can be used to create relationships between different attributes in the same table. For example, if you have a table with two columns, “Name” and “Address”, you can create a coupled attribute between them so that when you update the “Name” column, the “Address” column will automatically update as well.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating coupled attributes, it is important to make sure that the data types of the two attributes are compatible. If they are not, then the data will not be able to be linked properly. Additionally, it is important to make sure that the data is consistent across both columns so that changes are reflected accurately.

    Related Information:
Coupled attributes are similar to foreign keys in relational databases, which are used to link two tables together. Additionally, coupled attributes can also be used in conjunction with other features of SAP NetWeaver MDM such as data validation and workflow management.
