  • Key Concepts:
Object management records (OMRs) are used in SAP's Engineering Change Management (LO-ECH) component to store information about objects that are subject to change. This includes the object's name, description, and version number. OMRs also store information about the changes that have been made to the object, such as who made the change and when it was made.

    How to use it:
To create an OMR, you must first create an object in the LO-ECH component. Once the object is created, you can then create an OMR for it. This can be done by selecting the “Create OMR” option from the menu. You will then be prompted to enter information about the object, such as its name, description, and version number. Once this is done, you can save the OMR and it will be stored in the system.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating an OMR, make sure to enter accurate information about the object. This will help ensure that any changes made to the object are tracked properly. Additionally, make sure to keep track of any changes that are made to the object so that they can be easily accessed later on.

    Related Information:
For more information on how to use OMRs in SAP's Engineering Change Management component, please refer to SAP's official documentation on the topic. Additionally, there are many online tutorials available that provide step-by-step instructions on how to use OMRs in LO-ECH.
