• Description: The maximum quantity of a material that can be picked from a given storage type. This value lets you remove stock based on quantity for storage types, such as picking areas, in which small quantities are processed and other storage types, such as reserve or bulk storage, in which large quantities are stored. If the requested quantity exceeds the control quantity, the WM system picks from the storage type with large quantities. The control quantity is defined in the WM view of the material master record at storage type level.
