• Description: A function in which a resource bypasses a task or task bundle assigned to it and not yet started. There are three types of task skip: Force skip - A skip performed by a resource when its task or task bundle cannot be started at all, such as when the task's source bin is inaccessible. The force skipped task is given the status of "Hold" and other resources are prevented from executing it. Voluntary skip - A skip performed by a resource after receiving a task that it currently does not want to perform. The task may be executed by the original resource after it has completed a different task, or by any other suitably qualified resource. Permanent voluntary skip - A skip performed by a resource after receiving a task that it does not want to perform. The resource does not receive this task again while active, and the task may be executed by any other suitably qualified resource.
