• Description: A process triggered when a resource acknowledges via the system the completion of the source and destination steps in a task. When a resource confirms a task at the source, the task is given the status of "Started" and first stage confirmation occurs. There are two ways of confirming a task at completion: A resource can physically execute a task, provide the appropriate verification and then confirm it. The confirmed task is given the status of "Finished". If a resource is unable to confirm a task in the regular way, it can force confirmation. The task is given the status of "Force confirm" and appears in the Alert Monitor. The warehouse manager can then rectify the problem and complete confirmation, giving the task the status of "Finished". When a task relating to the final destination of the underlying transfer order is given the status of "Finished", transfer order transfer confirmation occurs.
