info object status - Details

  • Key Concepts: Info object status is a feature of the Knowledge Warehouse (KM-KW) component of SAP. It is used to track the status of an info object, which is a type of data object that stores information about a particular subject. The info object status can be set to either active or inactive, and this determines whether or not the info object is visible in the Knowledge Warehouse.
How to use it: To use the info object status feature, you must first create an info object in the Knowledge Warehouse. Once you have done this, you can set the status of the info object to either active or inactive. If you set it to active, then it will be visible in the Knowledge Warehouse. If you set it to inactive, then it will not be visible in the Knowledge Warehouse.
Tips & Tricks: It is important to remember that setting an info object status to inactive does not delete it from the Knowledge Warehouse. It simply makes it invisible to users. If you want to delete an info object, you must do so manually.
Related Information: For more information about info objects and their status, please refer to SAP's official documentation on the Knowledge Warehouse component.
