Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Short/over balancing is a feature of the IS-R-POS Point of Sale (POS) system that allows retailers to quickly and accurately reconcile their cash register transactions. This feature allows retailers to compare the amount of cash in the register with the amount of sales recorded in the POS system. If there is a discrepancy, the system will alert the retailer and allow them to adjust the amount of cash in the register accordingly.

    How to use it:
To use short/over balancing, retailers must first enter all sales transactions into the POS system. Once all transactions have been entered, the retailer can then compare the total amount of cash in the register with the total amount of sales recorded in the POS system. If there is a discrepancy, the system will alert the retailer and allow them to adjust the amount of cash in the register accordingly.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to regularly check for discrepancies between cash in the register and sales recorded in the POS system. This will help ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and that any discrepancies are quickly identified and corrected. Additionally, it is important to ensure that all employees are properly trained on how to use short/over balancing so that they can quickly and accurately reconcile their cash register transactions.
