dynamic float - Details

  • Key Concepts: Dynamic float is a feature of the IS-R-POS Point of Sale (POS) system that allows retailers to manage their cash flow more efficiently. It allows retailers to set a minimum and maximum amount of cash that can be kept in the POS register at any given time. When the amount of cash in the register falls below the minimum, the system automatically replenishes it with additional funds from a designated bank account. Similarly, when the amount of cash in the register exceeds the maximum, the system automatically transfers excess funds back to the designated bank account. How to Use It: To use dynamic float, retailers must first set up a designated bank account and link it to their POS system. Once this is done, they can set their desired minimum and maximum amounts of cash in the register. The POS system will then automatically replenish or transfer funds as needed to maintain these levels.
