  To assign a substitution customer, go to the “Substitution Assignment” tab in the SAP IS Retail (Customer) application. Select the original customer and then select the substitute customer from the list of available customers. Once you have selected the substitute customer, click “Save” to complete the substitution assignment.

  When assigning a substitution customer, make sure that all of the information for both customers is up-to-date and accurate. This will ensure that all transactions and activities related to the original customer are properly transferred to the substitute customer.
