  • Key Concepts:
Partial deduction is a feature of the IS-PS-4S Social Services and Social Security component of SAP software. It allows for the partial deduction of social security contributions from an employee’s salary. This means that the employer can deduct a portion of the employee’s salary to cover the cost of social security contributions.

    How to use it:
To use partial deduction, employers must first set up a deduction rule in the system. This rule will specify the amount to be deducted from each employee’s salary. The employer can then enter the employee’s salary information into the system and the system will automatically calculate and deduct the appropriate amount for social security contributions.

    Tips & Tricks:
It is important to ensure that the deduction rule is set up correctly in order to ensure that the correct amount is deducted from each employee’s salary. Additionally, employers should keep track of any changes in social security contribution rates as these may affect the amount that needs to be deducted from each employee’s salary.

    Related Information:
For more information on partial deduction, please refer to SAP’s official documentation on IS-PS-4S Social Services and Social Security. Additionally, employers should consult with their local tax authorities for more information on social security contribution rates and other related regulations.
