What is price reference plant in SAP IS-OIL-DS-EXG - Exchanges?

  • Description: For 'pure exchange plants' with no physical inventory, the reference plant can be used for valuation purposes to find a fair material value. In this case the 'meaningful' price of the material in the reference plant replaces the actual material price in the 'pure exchange plant' during a goods receipt.
