Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Overall priority is a feature in the SAP IS-M-SD Media Sales and Distribution component that allows users to prioritize sales orders. This feature allows users to assign a priority to each order, which will determine the order in which the orders are processed.

    How to use it:
To use the overall priority feature, users must first assign a priority to each order. This can be done by selecting the “Priority” field in the order entry screen and entering a numerical value from 1 to 10, with 1 being the highest priority and 10 being the lowest. Once the priority has been assigned, the orders will be processed in order of their assigned priority.

    Tips & Tricks:
When assigning priorities, it is important to consider how quickly each order needs to be processed. For example, if an order needs to be processed quickly, it should be given a higher priority than an order that can wait. Additionally, it is important to remember that orders with higher priorities will be processed first, so it is important to assign priorities accordingly.
