  To use strength substitution, the user must first select the desired medication from the medication list. Then, they must select the desired strength from the list of available strengths. If the desired strength is not available, they can select “Substitute Strength” and enter the desired strength. The system will then search for a medication with the same active ingredient and closest available strength.
