Component: IS-HMED
Component Name: Clinical System
Description: Means of structuring logging configurations into appropriate combinations. Any number of logging configurations can be assigned to a logging profile. However, the logging profile is assigned to exactly one log type for example, log per patient. &EXAMPLE& A logging configuration is created for logging the display of clinical orders and one is also created for logging the display of orders in Medication different applications. Since both logging configurations concern the display of data, they can be assigned to the same profile for example, Display of Medical Objects.
Key Concepts: A logging profile is a feature of the IS-HMED Clinical System that allows users to customize the logging of system events. It enables users to define which events should be logged, how they should be logged, and where the log files should be stored. This helps to ensure that all relevant information is captured and stored in an organized manner. How to use it: To use the logging profile feature, users must first create a profile. This can be done by selecting the “Logging Profile” option from the System Administration menu. From there, users can define which events should be logged, how they should be logged, and where the log files should be stored. Once the profile is created, it can be applied to any system event that needs to be logged. Tips & Tricks: When creating a logging profile, it is important to consider which events need to be logged and how they should be logged. For example, if certain events need to be tracked more closely than others, they should be given higher priority in the logging profile. Additionally, it is important to consider where the log files should be stored so that they are easily accessible when needed.
