When an appointment is confirmed, it means that the patient has accepted the appointment and will attend it. How to use it: In order to confirm an appointment, the patient must first be registered in the system. Once registered, the patient can accept the appointment by clicking on the “Confirm” button. This will change the status of the appointment from “Pending” to “Confirmed”. Tips & Tricks: It is important to remember that confirming an appointment does not guarantee that the patient will actually attend it. If a patient fails to show up for a confirmed appointment, it is important to update their status in the system accordingly. Related Information: The IS-HMED Clinical System also allows for appointments to be cancelled or rescheduled. Cancelled appointments are marked as “Cancelled” in the system, while rescheduled appointments are marked as “Rescheduled”.
