The release rule specifies for example the following: The minimum and maximum percentages of the order quantity which must be allocatable at the various release levels total order, item level, dimension level before the corresponding stock is released for delivery. Whether a credit check should take place at the various release levels and how the system issues the result of this check for instance, as an error or warning.
