What is compressed view in SAP IS-AD-ROT - Rotables Management?

  • Component Name: Rotables Management

  • Description: In the Component Maintenance Cockpit you can display the operations in an order either compressed or non-compressed. In the compressed view the CMC bundles sequential operations from the same work center and displays them in one line. In determining buffer distribution when using the compressed view the CMC determines the position of each work center in the order, the duration of total consecutive operations in the work center, the defined stretch factor, and the total number of work centers in the order.

    Compressed view is a feature in the IS-AD-ROT Rotables Management component of SAP that allows users to view and manage rotables in a condensed format. This feature allows users to quickly identify and manage rotables, as well as to quickly identify any discrepancies or issues with the rotables. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To use the compressed view feature, users must first select the “Compressed View” option from the main menu. This will open up a condensed view of all rotables in the system. From here, users can select individual rotables to view and manage them. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When using the compressed view feature, it is important to remember that only certain fields are visible in this condensed format. To view all fields associated with a rotable, users must select the “Detailed View” option from the main menu.
