Component: ICM
Component Name: Incentive and Commission Management (ICM)
Description: Incentive and Commission Management One of two processing modes in the determination. In process mode, the determination is called in a process like the commission case or entitlement and liability transfer ELT, unlike the analysis mode.
Key Concepts: Process mode is a feature of the ICM Incentive and Commission Management (ICM) component of SAP. It is used to define the way in which ICM processes are executed. Process mode can be set to either “synchronous” or “asynchronous”. In synchronous mode, ICM processes are executed immediately, while in asynchronous mode, ICM processes are executed at a later time. How to use it: To set the process mode for an ICM process, go to the ICM configuration screen and select the “Process Mode” option. From there, you can choose either “synchronous” or “asynchronous”. Once you have selected the desired process mode, click “Save” to apply the changes. Tips & Tricks: When setting the process mode for an ICM process, it is important to consider the impact that each mode will have on performance. Synchronous mode will execute processes immediately, but may cause performance issues if there are too many processes running at once. Asynchronous mode will execute processes at a later time, but may cause delays if there are too many processes waiting to be executed.
