  • Description: Incentive and Commission Management Special type of assignment role that documents a temporary assignment of business objects to assignment objects. As such, interim portfolio assignment is a particular form of portfolio assignment, or the preliminary stage of portfolio reassignment. Example In a case of interim portfolio assignment, the assignment to the previous agent remains in place. If the agent of the interim portfolio assignment brings about a change of the insurance policy, this policy is then assigned to his or her portfolio segment. Interim portfolio assignment can therefore be considered as a special type of assignment for a particular segment portfolio.

    Interim portfolio assignment is a feature of ICM Incentive and Commission Management (ICM) that allows users to assign a portfolio of products or services to an individual or group for a limited period of time. This feature is useful for situations where a portfolio needs to be assigned quickly, such as when a salesperson is temporarily assigned to a new territory or when a customer service representative is temporarily assigned to a new customer. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To use the interim portfolio assignment feature, users must first create an interim portfolio in ICM. This can be done by selecting the “Create Interim Portfolio” option from the main menu. Once the interim portfolio has been created, users can then assign it to an individual or group by selecting the “Assign Interim Portfolio” option from the main menu.

    When creating an interim portfolio, it is important to ensure that all relevant products and services are included in the portfolio. Additionally, users should ensure that the expiration date of the interim portfolio is set correctly so that it does not expire before its intended use.
