Component Name: Incentive and Commission Management (ICM)
Description: Incentive and Commission Management Commission cases that are related to each other from a business point of view and which consequently are dependent on each other are considered to be a chain of commission cases. If one commission case in the chain is subject to change valuation or remuneration, other cases are probably also affected valuation or remuneration. Retroactive case processing RCP must therefore take account of commission case chains and their dependent commission cases. Possible reasons for forming commission case chains: 1 Rebundling of subobjects 2 Remuneration corrections 3 Commission cases that process a higher business case version than the commission case that is subject to change. Since the existing valuation history in each commission case is processed, no commission case apart from the latest in the chain can be changed without generating errors.
Key Concepts: Commission case chain is a feature of SAP ICM Incentive and Commission Management (ICM) that allows users to create a chain of commission cases. This chain of cases can be used to track the progress of a commission process from start to finish. The chain can also be used to ensure that all the necessary steps are taken in order to complete the commission process. How to use it: To create a commission case chain, users must first create a commission case. This can be done by selecting the “Create Commission Case” option from the ICM menu. Once the commission case is created, users can then add additional cases to the chain by selecting the “Add Case” option from the ICM menu. The user can then specify the details of each case in the chain, such as the type of commission, the amount of commission, and any other relevant information. Once all of the cases have been added to the chain, users can then view and manage the entire chain from within ICM. Tips & Tricks: When creating a commission case chain, it is important to ensure that all of the necessary steps are taken in order to complete the process. For example, if there are multiple parties involved in a commission process, it is important to ensure that each party has been notified and has agreed to participate in the process. Additionally, it is important to ensure that all of the necessary documents have been signed and submitted in order for the process to be completed successfully.
