Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
Credential assignment is a feature of the ICM-CRD Credentialing (CRD) component of SAP. It allows users to assign credentials to specific users or groups of users. This allows for more secure access to certain areas of the system, as well as more granular control over who can access what.

    How to use it:
To assign credentials, a user must first create a credential profile. This profile will contain the necessary information about the user or group of users that will be assigned the credentials. Once the profile is created, the user can then assign the credentials to the profile. This can be done either manually or through an automated process.

    Tips & Tricks:
When assigning credentials, it is important to ensure that only those who need access to certain areas of the system are given access. It is also important to ensure that all users have the appropriate level of access for their role in the system.
