• Description: Procedure to ensure that the pool concentration limits limit rules are fulfiled. In comparison to pool selection, the system cannot define limits using asset properties as to whether a particular asset can be assigned to a pool or not. It must always consider the individual asset and in addition those assets already in the pool. Limititation is an optional process when modelling pools. Limt rule example: The percentage of all green cars in a pool may not exceed 10%. In theory, all green cars can be in the pool, but in order to determine if the next green car can be in the pool, the exisiting pool make-up has to be consodered first. Limitation ensures that at the end all limit rules are fulfilled, in case it is not possible.
