What is PM ID in SAP FS-PM - Policy Management?

• Description: Identification number for product module level. Example: The sales product exists as meta class. The sales product has the following product modules: Schoener Life and family coverage with their own PM ID. Note: If a module has multiple generations or adjustment levels, the PM ID on its own does not allow the export of characteristics and relationships between the product modules. The date of sale and the analysis date must also be entered to determine the suitable generation and adjustment level.
