Smart SAP Assistant

  • Key Concepts:
A lock scheme is a feature of the FS-PM Policy Management component of SAP. It is used to control access to certain objects in the system, such as documents, folders, and other data. The lock scheme allows administrators to set up rules that determine who can view, edit, or delete certain objects.

    How to use it:
To use the lock scheme, administrators must first create a lock rule. This rule defines which users or groups have access to the object and what type of access they have (view, edit, delete). Once the rule is created, it can be applied to any object in the system.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a lock rule, it is important to consider who needs access to the object and what type of access they need. It is also important to remember that the lock scheme only applies to objects in the system; it does not apply to external sources such as websites or databases.
