  • Key Concepts:
Participation condition is a feature of SAP Master Contract Management (FS-MCM-MC) that allows users to define conditions for the participation of a contract in a master contract. This feature enables users to specify the conditions under which a contract can be included in a master contract, such as the validity period, the type of contract, and the type of customer.

    How to use it:
To use the participation condition feature, users must first create a master contract. Once the master contract is created, users can then define the conditions for participation in the master contract. This can be done by selecting the “Participation Conditions” tab in the master contract and then entering the desired conditions.

    Tips & Tricks:
When defining participation conditions, it is important to consider all possible scenarios that could affect the inclusion of a contract in a master contract. For example, if a customer has multiple contracts with different validity periods, it is important to consider how these contracts will be handled when creating the participation conditions.
