    Segment is a term used in the FS-LRM Liquidity and Risk Management component of SAP. It is a way of grouping related accounts together to make it easier to analyze and manage liquidity and risk. Segments can be used to identify different types of accounts, such as those related to cash, investments, or loans. They can also be used to group accounts by geography, industry, or other criteria. 
    
    How to use it: 
    In order to use segments in SAP FS-LRM, you must first create them. This can be done by selecting the “Create Segment” option from the menu. You will then be prompted to enter the segment name and description. Once created, you can assign accounts to the segment by selecting the “Assign Accounts” option from the menu. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating segments, it is important to think about how they will be used. For example, if you are creating a segment for cash accounts, you may want to include all accounts related to cash in that segment. This will make it easier to analyze and manage liquidity and risk for those accounts.
