  • Description: Total amount in a benefit split that can be paid out to one or several beneficiaries in the event of a claim. The calculation of this amount differs, depending whether the benefit split is onetime or periodic: Onetime benefit split The result of the benefit determination is transferred to the benefit split as the amount to be distributed. All factors of the benefit determination, such as taxes or offset items, are included in the benefit split amount. Periodic benefit split The benefit split amount comprises the annual total values of the benefit values selected for the benefit split in question. Only the benefit values are considered in the determination of the benefit split amount.
