  Time bucket is a term used in the Accounting for Financial Products (AFP) component of SAP’s Financial Services (FS) Business Application (BA).   How to use it: 
  Time buckets can be used to group transactions into different time periods. This can be done manually or automatically. To manually create a time bucket, go to the “Time Buckets” tab in the AFP component of FS-BA-PM. Here you can select the time period you want to group transactions into and enter the start and end dates for the time bucket. 
  
  Tips & Tricks: 
  When creating a time bucket, it is important to make sure that all transactions are included in the time period you have selected. This will ensure that all data is accurately reported and analyzed. Additionally, it is important to remember that time buckets are not permanent and can be changed or deleted at any time.
