In Customizing, characteristics and key figures are grouped into balance subobject types, which then determine the structure of the concrete balance objects. There are different categories of balance subobjects BSO. Each BO must have a BSO from the "main part" category. In addition to this, multicurrency objects also have "currency leg" BSOs. Other categories allow, for example, the indentification of BSOs that are not to be filled until postprocessing. BSOs are only used in balance processing.
