What is carryover data in SAP FS-AM - Account Management?

  • Description: The data the new system uses for data update during external data transfer to seamlessly follow on from the final status in the legacy system. Determination of this data can vary, depending on the underlying migration object: The new system determines the starting status on the basis of the final status in the legacy system, which must be supplied, by adding n units, for example The new system requires you to explicitly supply the new starting status &EXAMPLE& The last bank statement in the legacy system has sequential number 0015. As carryover data, the new system needs the final data status 0015, from which it calculates the starting status 0016.
