What is transaction history in SAP FS-AM-IM - Item Management?


SAP Term: transaction history

  • Component: FS-AM-IM

  • Component Name: Item Management

  • Description: Provides an overview of all transactions on an active account to a business partner on demand of the business partner and can be requested for any period of time and any number of times. The data can be sent to Correspondence FS-AM-COR and can be printed using Print Workbench CA-GTF-PWB. It can then be delivered to the business partner.

    Transaction history is a feature of SAP FS-AM-IM Item Management that allows users to view the history of all transactions related to a particular item. This includes information such as the date and time of the transaction, the user who initiated it, and the type of transaction. This feature is useful for tracking changes to an item over time and for troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
    
    How to use it: 
    To access the transaction history for an item, open the item in SAP FS-AM-IM Item Management and select the “Transaction History” tab. This will display a list of all transactions related to the item, including information such as the date and time of the transaction, the user who initiated it, and the type of transaction. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When viewing the transaction history for an item, you can filter by date range or by user to quickly find relevant information. You can also export the transaction history to a CSV file for further analysis.
