What is linked accounts in SAP FS-AM-CM-CA - Card?


SAP Term: linked accounts

  • Component: FS-AM-CM-CA

  • Component Name: Card

  • Description: An Account Management contract element that maps the linking of multiple accounts to a card. The card represents the main contract to which a reference account is assigned. This account is used as the main payment details. All other participant accounts added to the card have the same status as each other. &EXAMPLE& A card holder can manage multiple accounts with one card print statement, withdraw cash, for example.

    Linked accounts are a feature of SAP FS-AM-CM-CA Card Management that allows users to link multiple accounts together. This allows users to easily transfer funds between accounts, as well as view all of their accounts in one place. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To link accounts, users must first log into their SAP account. Then, they can select the “Link Accounts” option from the menu. From there, they can select the accounts they wish to link and confirm the link. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When linking accounts, it is important to remember that only accounts with the same currency can be linked. Additionally, users should be aware that linked accounts cannot be unlinked once they have been linked.
