• Description: A system object used in India to classify all the withholding tax items of a company code for the purpose of tax reporting. When a user posts withholding tax items, he has to specify which section code he wants to post it under. In India, the section code group includes all the section codes that have a single tax deduction account number TAN. It also tells the system under which TAN the item was posted, and thus which TAN to declare in its tax statement.
