  • Description: The accounting record that is saved but not yet posted to general ledger accounts. It is possible to edit, check, or post the journal entry when it is has the parked status.     Parked journal entries are documents used to temporarily store financial data in SAP. They are used to store data that is not yet ready to be posted to the general ledger. Parked journal entries can be edited and changed before they are posted. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To create a parked journal entry, go to the Financial Accounting (FI) module in SAP and select the “Create Parked Document” option. Enter the necessary information such as the document type, date, and account numbers. Once all of the information is entered, click “Save” to save the document. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating a parked journal entry, make sure to double-check all of the information entered for accuracy. It is also important to remember that parked journal entries can only be edited or deleted by the user who created them.
