  • Description: The per diem or flat rate amount is reduced for each day of the calendar on which the business trip did not last more than 12 hours as follows: Duration of trip - Per diem or flat rate amount More than 10 hours = 80% of full rate More than 8 hours = 60% of full rate More than 6 hours = 30% of full rate Less than 6 hours = 0% of full rate
