What is subgroup in SAP FI-LC - Consolidation?

    Subgroups are used in the FI-LC Consolidation component of SAP to group together related accounts. This allows for easier consolidation of financial statements and more accurate reporting. Subgroups can be created for any type of account, such as assets, liabilities, or equity. 
    
    How to use it: 
    To create a subgroup in the FI-LC Consolidation component of SAP, first select the accounts you want to include in the subgroup. Then, click on the “Create Subgroup” button and enter a name for the subgroup. Finally, click “Save” to save the subgroup. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating a subgroup, it is important to make sure that all of the accounts included in the subgroup are related to each other. This will ensure that the consolidation process is accurate and efficient. Additionally, it is important to give each subgroup a descriptive name so that it is easy to identify later on.
