  • Key Concepts:
Company pair is a term used in the FI-LC Consolidation component of SAP. It is a combination of two companies that are consolidated together. The two companies are referred to as the “parent” and “subsidiary” company. The parent company is the one that owns the subsidiary company, and the subsidiary company is the one that is being consolidated into the parent company.

    How to use it:
In order to use company pair in SAP, you must first create a consolidation group. This group will contain all of the companies that you want to consolidate together. Once you have created the consolidation group, you can then create a company pair by assigning a parent and subsidiary company to it. You can then use this company pair to consolidate the financial data of both companies into one set of financial statements.

    Tips & Tricks:
When creating a company pair, it is important to make sure that both companies are in the same currency. This will ensure that all of the financial data is accurately consolidated into one set of financial statements. Additionally, it is important to make sure that both companies have the same fiscal year end date so that all of the financial data can be accurately consolidated.
