  • Key Concepts:
Simple criteria are used in the SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation (EPM-PLA) application to define the data that should be included in a report. Simple criteria are used to filter out data that is not relevant to the report. They can be used to select specific values, such as a specific account or cost center, or to select a range of values, such as a range of dates or amounts.

    How to use it:
Simple criteria can be used in the EPM-PLA application by selecting the “Simple Criteria” option from the “Data Selection” tab. This will open a window where you can enter the criteria you want to use. You can enter multiple criteria, and they can be combined using logical operators such as “AND” and “OR”. Once you have entered your criteria, click “OK” to apply them to the report.

    Tips & Tricks:
When using simple criteria, it is important to remember that they are applied after any other data selection options have been applied. This means that if you have already selected specific accounts or cost centers, those selections will take precedence over any simple criteria you enter.
