    MDX (Multi-Dimensional Expressions) is a query language used to access and manipulate data stored in multi-dimensional databases. It is used to create formulas that can be used to analyze data from multiple dimensions. MDX formulas are used in SAP BusinessObjects Extended Analytics (EPM-EA) to create complex calculations and analysis. 
    
    How to use it: 
    MDX formulas can be used in EPM-EA to create calculations and analysis that are not available through the standard features of the software. To use an MDX formula, you must first create a query in the Query Panel of EPM-EA. Once the query is created, you can then enter an MDX formula into the Formula Editor. The formula will then be applied to the query results. 
    
    Tips & Tricks: 
    When creating an MDX formula, it is important to ensure that all of the elements of the formula are correctly formatted. This includes making sure that all of the parentheses, brackets, and quotation marks are in the correct places. Additionally, it is important to make sure that all of the elements of the formula are spelled correctly.
